About Cubbie
"Cubbie was my first proper bear character — the one that made me realise I could create something special for our community. That expression took ages to get right — needed to be friendly but not goofy, confident but approachable. He represents what I love about bear culture: authenticity, warmth, and not taking ourselves too seriously. As my illustration style has matured, I felt it was important to redraw these characters from scratch, ensuring the original Cubbie & Co. bears that started it all continue to live on and make their own special appearances in Btown."
