We try every tee before you do — here's why
Hey there, Rich from Cubbie & Co. here. As a bear making clothes for other bears, I know how important it is that everything we sell feels right on thicker, hairier bodies. That's why I want to share how we try everything before it goes on sale. And when I say try, I mean we actually wear it.
As a small business making clothes for gay bears, getting things right is important to us. Our approach is simple—we wear the clothes, wash them, dry them, and live in them. It's hands-on experience that shows us what it's actually like to wear our clothing.
If we don't feel comfortable in it, how are you meant to? It's why you'll notice our current range is small—we'd rather offer fewer items we believe in than dozens we're not sure about.
Here's a real example: over the past eight weeks, I've been wearing a T-shirt from a new supplier. I've worn it once a week, putting it through the wash and air-drying it each time. The good news? It's perfect for what we need. The material has stayed soft, and the print looks just as sharp without any signs of cracking.
The small details matter—they're what make the difference between clothes you love and clothes that just hang in your wardrobe. We'll be switching to this supplier in the new year.
Quality matters in everything we do. From the weight of the fabric to how soft it feels against your skin. We've rejected a couple of sample tees as they were too heavy and rough. When you're making clothes, every detail counts.
There are no fancy labs or complex processes—just real bears trying clothes for other bears. Because when you put on our clothes, I want you to feel fabulous and fur-ocious.
